vs TicketLeap

Comparing Hytix with TicketLeap.

TicketLeap has been around a long time and charges no subscription, which is fair. Where it differs is the percentage on top of the dollar, when you actually get paid, and what happens after 5pm.

The numbers

All-in cost per ticket, organizer-absorbed.

Hytix at $0.50 + 2.99%. TicketLeap at $1 + 2% of the ticket price, plus 3% online transaction fee. Both figures include payment processing, so this is like for like.

$50 ticket$1.99$3.50$1.51

At 5,000 paid tickets of $25, that is $6,238 on Hytix against $11,250 on TicketLeap - a difference of $5,012 on one event.

The differences

Four things worth knowing before you switch.

A dollar, plus a percentage, plus another percentage

TicketLeap charges $1 + 2% of the ticket price, then 3% on the order. On a $25 ticket that is $2.25 against $1.25 on Hytix, and the gap grows with the price because two of those three components scale.

Payouts after the event, not during it

TicketLeap pays out 4-7 business days after your event ends. Hytix payouts are available within minutes of a sale, including weekends and holidays - which matters when you are paying suppliers before the gates open.

Support inside business hours

TicketLeap publishes 9am-5pm Eastern on weekdays, with emergency cover at nights and weekends. Events are mostly at night and at weekends, so we treat that as the main shift rather than the exception.

No AI anywhere in the product

TicketLeap has no AI-assisted setup. On Hytix, describing a run drafts the schedule, ticket types and page copy for you - which is the difference between an afternoon and a few minutes on a long timed-entry season.

Switching

Moving across takes an afternoon, not a season.

FAQ

Switching from TicketLeap

Is Hytix cheaper than TicketLeap?

On a $25 ticket, $1.25 against $2.25 on published US rates. Because TicketLeap charges a percentage in two places, the difference grows as your ticket price rises.

How much faster are payouts?

TicketLeap publishes 4-7 business days after the event ends. Hytix payouts are available in minutes from the sale, including weekends and holidays.

Is there a fee cap?

TicketLeap caps its ticketing fee at $20 a ticket. Hytix does not need a cap - $0.50 never approaches it, whatever you charge.

Can we switch mid-season?

Yes. Migration is free and organizers move across with events already on sale.
